Your responsibilities
Sollis is looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented bookkeeper to help the company manage day-to-day expenses, establish clear financial tracking systems, and oversee a multi-center business, as we continue to grow into new cities and markets.

Specifically, your duties will include:

  • Reconcile our finances in Xero (our current accounting software) or implement another software of choice
  • Ensure all revenue and expenses coming in and out of the business are tagged to the proper clinic locations
  • Implement a formal expense system for employees
  • Issue employee corporate credit cards, track and review spending, manage company points
  • Pay all company bills in a timely fashion
  • Support the creation of monthly and quarterly P&Ls and financial models
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and reports as requested by the management team
  • Liaise with accountants to support tax filing and other needs
  • Perform other projects and tasks as determined by management to meet business needs

Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Exceptional bookkeeping and financial management skills
  • Strong technical and systems skills – excellent ability with Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and a conscientious personality type, able to juggle multiple projects without dropping balls
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ownership and accountability – a “buck stops here” attitude. Happy to take ownership for projects and problems and make sure they are executed to the highest standards
  • Career-oriented individual, searching for unlimited opportunities
  • Ability to think and work independently, effectively, and efficiently as if running your own business
  • Ambitious, strong work ethic, and open to new ideas

Experience
We believe extraordinary people come from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally we would expect that you have:

  • 2-6 years experience in accounting, corporate finance, banking, or bookkeeping
  • Experience managing the day to day financials of a business with multiple locations
  • Familiarity with Xero a plus
  • Some background/understanding of the medical space preferred
  • Are a rising star, looking for a challenging opportunity to build the financial operations of a growing business.
