Dr. Scott Pearlman

Medical Director
, NY

Dr. Pearlman received his Bachelors of Arts at Rutgers University after which he attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed a combined residency in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware.

Dr. Pearlman is board-certified in Emergency Medicine, and has been practicing emergency medicine in NYC for the past 18 years. He most recently served as Vice-Chairman for Emergency Medicine at Montefiore Health System in the Bronx. When not working, he can be found with his wife and daughter in and around their home in Brooklyn.

Dr. Danish Ahmad

Asst Medical Director

Dr. Danish Ahmad is an Assistant Medical Director at Sollis Health New York. He graduated medical school from the University of South Florida and pursued a residency/fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.  Following 6 years of training he graduated from a combined program in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He currently is boarded in all three specialties.

He proceeded to join Mount Sinai following completion of training. There he held a joint appointment in the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Institute of Critical Care Medicine. He split his clinical time between the Emergency Department and various ICUs within the system including the Cardiac Care Unit. After 6 years at Mount Sinai Hospital he joined Sollis Health.

Dr. Melissa Cusumano

Asst Medical Director

Dr. Cusumano earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at St. Barnabas Hospital. For 14 years, she was an attending Emergency Medicine physician at Northwell Health in Plainview and, for five years, she was a per diem attending at Mount Sinai South Nassau. Dr. Cusumano is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration and is thrilled to be part of the Sollis team.

Dr. Sumir Shah

Asst Medical Director
, NY

Dr. Shah received his Bachelors degree from University of Rochester in Microbiology & Immunology followed by a Masters in Physiology & Biophysics from Georgetown University. He attended NYIT College of Medicine and completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens.

Dr. Devin Bustin

Associate Medical Director for Informatics

Devin comes to Sollis as an attending physician as well as Associate Director of Sollis’ system-wide clinical informatics. He graduated from University of Florida — College of Medicine and completed his emergency medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center. Devin is also currently a member of the American Medical Informatics Association and American College of Emergency Physicians.
