At-Home and On Demand Services in the Hamptons

A  guide to safe self-care in the Hamptons this summer:

It’s been months of quarantining for many of us, and as we dive deeper into the dog days of summer, the urge to get out and enjoy the season is real. But as cases continue to rage across the country, it’s important to exercise precaution in our pursuits to make the most of the new normal. How do you know which activities to indulge in? We compiled a list of services and activities (indoor and out) – from art-house movie clubs to at-home dental whitening and on-demand massage therapy, so you have somewhere to start.

We do want to clarify that although there is no activity at the moment that is zero-risk, based on our current understanding of risk hierarchy – we identified the following as relatively safe to recommend:

It takes a village to raise a child — and we understand that the lockdown intensified the pressure on many parents to juggle their work with the additional responsibility of home-schooling their kids. Union Square Play brings together a community — for parents and children alike in a special pandemic edition on Zoom. Join weekly conversations (with a glass of wine if you’re up to it) led by specialists in child psychology with fellow parents. Soon-to-be mothers are  encouraged to join too. 

Transport Service: 
Blade’s Essential Ground Connect provides safe SUVs in the New York Metropolitan Area for individuals, businesses or communities in need of ground transport, with a scaled fee service for intra-Hampton’s travel. In light of Covid-19, the SUV fleet has been reconfigured with a plexiglass partition between the driver and passenger rows.
