An Emergency Abroad
A 21-year-old woman passed out, but not in NYC—in Madrid. Sollis got her an ambulance immediately, coordinated her care at the hospital, and found two private doctors in Spain for follow-up. What could have been an international nightmare was instead managed with immediate, first-class care— a huge relief for her and her family.
Truly 24/7 Care
A 68-year-old man walked in with shortness of breath. Within minutes, he was given lab tests, X-rays, an EKG, and cardiac monitoring, and also examined by a cardiologist—all in-house, after-hours, on a weekend. The cardiologist administered Adenosine and before long, was able to discharge him. Because of Sollis, he returned to regular breathing and went home without ever having to go to the hospital.
An Essential Second Opinion
A 6-month-old girl burned the tip of her finger and went to a public ER where the doctor told her family he could not salvage it. With no time to spare, Sollis sent her to the Chief of Pediatric Orthopedics at Mount Sinai who helped save her finger after all. Without that second opinion, the outcome would have been drastically different.
