Our Doctors

Sollis Health was co-founded by Dr. Bernard Kruger, referred to as “a family doctor to the stars,” and a pioneer of concierge medicine who has been serving the needs of his patients for more than 50 years. Kruger is an internist with a specialty in Medical Oncology and on faculty at Weill Cornell in NY.

We have close to 60 board certified emergency physicians on staff to take care of any medical need you may have.

Dr. Ian Leber, M.D., MBA, CPE, FACEP

Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Leber joins Sollis as Chief Medical Officer with a 20+ year career dedicated to emergency medicine. He graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, received his medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh. Board-certified in emergency medicine, he served as the Chief Executive Officer for the largest emergency medicine practice in Florida and Chief Medical Officer of a multi-specialty practice consisting of over 50 different medical and surgical specialties practicing in over 200 locations across New York.

Dr. Michael Hilton, MD

Medical Director, New York
Dr. Hilton has served as Associate Medical Director of EMS and Disaster Preparedness at Mount Sinai and Medical Director of EMS systems in Pittsburgh. He is double board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services.

Dr. Scott Braunstein, MD

Medical Director, Los Angeles
For 15 years, Dr. Braunstein was a Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine at Cedars-Sinai where he delivered a number of nationally-published lectures. He also patrolled the sidelines as airway physician for the Los Angeles Rams.

Dr. Ian Russinoff

Medical Director, Florida
Dr. Russinoff served as the Vice-Chairman of the Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic Florida before he joined Sollis Health. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Medical Director for Broward Health Medical Center and the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Dr. Russinoff attended SUNY Downstate and trained at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City.

Dr. Avinash Ravilla, DO

Attending Physician, New York
Dr. Ravilla graduated from Drexel University with Bachelor of Science and earned his medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University where he also obtained certifications such as Basic Disaster Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. He has worked in two of the busiest emergency departments in the Northeast, including the Einstein Healthcare Network and St. Joseph’s Medical Center.

Dr. Bharat Kothakota, MD

Assistant Medical Director, Los Angeles
Dr. Kothakota joins Sollis Health as the Assistant Medical Director based in Los Angeles. Prior to this, he completed his residency at Lincoln Medical Center and Emergency Medicine training at New York City Health + Hospitals. Shortly after, Dr. Kothakota served as the Medical Director of Olympia Medical Center Emergency Department in Los Angeles.

Dr. Emily Kuo, MD

Attending Physician
Dr. Emily Kuo-Deknikker practices within Mt. Sinai Hospital System and is finishing her clinical fellowship. Dr. Kuo-Deknikker contributes to Clinical trials involving the use of Mesenchymal Stem Cells to treat lung Injuries caused By Sars-Cov-2 and wearable portable devices to monitor Arrhythmia. She studied at the Central University of Puerto Rico and completed her residency at New York Medical College.

Dr. Benjamin Stein, MD

Attending Physician
Dr. Stein has been practicing medicine for over 18 years with experience in the emergency departments of institutions such as Mt. Sinai, Lenox Hill, North Shore, Long Island Jewish Medical, and Eastern Long Island Hospital. He attended Georgetown and completed his residency at Boston University.

Dr. Nicholas Caputo, MD

Attending Physician
Dr. Caputo works as Associate Chief of the Department of Emergency Medicine at New York City Health + Hospitals and Lincoln Medical Center as well as an associate professor of clinical emergency medicine at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and an Emergency Physician at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Caputo attended St. George’s School of Medicine.

Dr. John Kim, MD

Attending Physician
Dr. Kim attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned his medical degree and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He currently is on the advisory board of Aperio Genetics, genomics driven personalized anti aging skin care regimen, and was previously with Vault Medical Group of New York focusing on men’s wellness.
